NORTHSTOWE MARKET - MONTHLY (1st Sunday of the month, 10AM - 2PM):

The monthly Sunday markets bring a variety of food and non-food products; come and support your local traders.

Located on The Green and inside The Cabin, next to The Green (just off the B1050). See more information, for traders and customers at the markets webpage.

Delivered by the Northstowe Town Council's Market Manager. Supported financially by Northstowe Town Council, supported also by a grant from the Combined Authority.

NORTHSTOWE COMMUNITY LOUNGE: EVERY THURSDAY, 6-8 PM.

Free and fun for everyone in the community.

Come to the Cabin (on The Green) for refreshments, board games, table tennis and other activities - all free.

Delivered by volunteers (Town Councillors and Residents). Supported financially by Northstowe Town Council, with a Warm Hub grant obtained from Cambridgeshire ACRE.

NORTHSTOWE_LONGSTANTON PARKPLAY:

EVERY SATURDAY from 10:30 am - 12:30, on the MUGA behind the Western Park Sports Pavilion.

Free and fun for everyone in the community!

What is ParkPlay?

It’s two hours of free community play every week, with active and inclusive games for all generations to play together!

What makes ParkPlay great?

It's a safe, welcoming and inclusive way for people to connect and have fun. Everyone can play at their own pace, and no one has to join in with anything they don't want to. ParkPlay is for you to enjoy whatever works for you, whether you're there for the games, for a chat, or to get out of the house!

How to join in?

Feel free to just come along to try it out and join in there and then - free and quick registration can be sorted during the session. The sessions runs every Saturday from 10.30am, for up to two hours. You can also find out more and pre-register to join Northstowe-Longstanton ParkPlay at www.park-play.com

Delivered by a dedicated, trained PlayLeader, Hektor, together with lovely volunteers. Supported financially by Northstowe Town Council (with funds originating from Homes England's Northstowe Phase 2 section 106 contributions), and working in close cooperation with Longstanton Parish Council; and with financial & resources support from ParkPlay and venue support from Elite Sports Ltd.

Mobile Food Hub_Flyer

NORTHSTOWE MOBILE FOOD HUB: EVERY FRIDAY, 10:30 - 11:30 AM, on The Green.

Hope on the Go, a Mobile Food Hub in partnership with SCDC and Northstowe Town Council bringing fresh produce and essential items directly to villages across South Cambridgeshire.

They offer a variety of items, including: Free Fruit & vegetables and other essentials and everything else is below retail price!

Now also coming to Northstowe to serve the residents of Northstowe and Longstanton - Come and visit the van on The Green: Low cost food available. although targeted to address the needs of residents in Northstowe and Longstanton who struggle as a result of the cost of living crisis, the mobile food van is open to everyone.

No vouchers or referrals needed – simply drop by if you feel you could benefit, whether it’s for a one-time visit or regularly. Payment: Hope CIC accepts both cash and card. (Please note: No service on Bank Holidays or during Christmas/New Year.)
