The Unity Centre — Northstowe’s brand-new state of the art, community hub right in the heart of town operated by your Town Council!
Our spaces are perfect for all kinds of special moments, from weddings and birthdays to religious celebrations, exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and so much more.
We host a wide mix of community groups and activities, including community development and NHS services, yoga and fitness classes, acrobatics, youth groups, dance and martial arts sessions. We also have cosy quiet areas for anyone needing a confidential chat or a calm space.
You’ll also find a friendly café serving hot and cold food and drinks, a micro-library, and plenty of other things to discover Come along, have a look around, and make yourself at home — everyone is welcome!

How to book The Unity Centre
Regular Bookings
(For groups meeting once a month or more)
If your organisation meets regularly at the Unity Centre (monthly or more frequently), please follow these steps:
Step 1 – Contact Us
Email bookings@northstowetowncouncil.gov.uk with:
Your organisation name
Preferred room
Day and time required
Frequency (e.g. monthly, weekly)
Expected start date
Contact details
Step 2 – Confirmation and Setup
Our team will:
Confirm availability
Apply the appropriate approved fee rate
Set up your recurring booking in our system
Step 3 – Invoicing
You will receive an invoice in accordance with the agreed payment schedule (e.g. monthly or quarterly).
Payment terms are typically 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
Your booking is confirmed once invoicing arrangements are in place.
Casual Bookings(One-off hires or occasional use)For single events, meetings or occasional bookings, you can book and pay online.
Step 1 – Request a Booking Code
Email bookings@northstowetowncouncil.gov.uk to request a booking code for the rate you wish to use.
Please include:
Your name
Organisation (if applicable)
Date and time requested
Room required
We will provide you with the correct booking code.
Step 2 – Book Online
Once you have your booking code:
Visit our online booking platform
Select your room, date and time
Enter your booking code
Pay online at the time of booking
Important
Casual bookings are only confirmed once payment has been successfully received through the online system.
Licence AgreementsIf you are hiring space under a formal Licence Agreement (for longer-term or exclusive use):
Terms will be agreed in advance
An invoice will be issued at the start of the licence period
Payment frequency will follow the signed agreement
Please contact us directly to discuss licence arrangements.
Payment Methods
We accept:
Online card payments (for casual bookings)
Bank transfer (for invoiced bookings)
Payment details will be included on your invoice where applicable.
