Invitation to join Act of Remembrance on Sunday 14th November

You are invited to join other Northstowe residents, town councillors, local schools, and uniformed organizations at Northstowe’s first Act of Remembrance.

Please gather by the benches and bridge at the new Water Park (near https://w3w.co/hikes.sooner.exploring ) at 10.45.

The short ceremony will start at 10.50 and last no more than 20 minutes. It will include wreath laying by community representatives, with silence being observed at 11am.

Afterwards, the Wreaths will be taken to the war memorial at Longstanton.

Please note:

· The organisation of the Act of Remembrance in Northstowe is kindly led by Revd Beth Cope, Pathfinder Church, this is event is supported by Northstowe Town Council. contact@northstowe.church (07720 330 272)

· In light of Covid, this year's event will be a small with no parade. It will run in tandem to a very similar event at the war memorial at our sister village, Longstanton. We are encouraging residents to attend the event held in their own village, thus minimising Covid risk.
