Support for lower income households to improve the energy efficiency of their homes

Published: 16 August 2022

The Cambridgeshire Local Authorities have established the
Action on Energy Cambridgeshire scheme.

This 100% grant funded programme supports lower income households to improve the energy efficiency of their homes and save money on their energy bills. Homes on gas and oil are eligible and landlords are also able to apply, although a financial contribution would be required. Full details are available at the Cambridgeshire County Council website at: Action on Energy - Cambridgeshire County Council

We are really keen to encourage any Cambridgeshire residents who might be eligible for the funding to get in touch via the links on the website(s), and I am hoping you would be able to share the details of the funding within your communities.

Given the rapidly increasing energy bills which are anticipating for the coming winter, now is the time to support our communities and help prevent people slipping into fuel poverty. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.
