Warm Hub officially opened today!

Northstowe Warm hub officially opened its doors, at Northstowe Secondary College on 4th January. This has been a collective community action in a bid to help tackle the cost-of-living challenges faced by the community, and to provide families and those who are socially isolated and vulnerable with a place to keep warm in Northstowe and surrounding villages.. The scheme is planned to run through to the end of March.

The Warm Hub will be open at the Secondary college between 9.30am and 12:30 am on Wednesdays and between 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursdays. The hub is on the second floor (gym area), although discussions are taking place to potentially move to the downstairs café area at NSC.

The hub is open to all, with anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult. It is a chance for residents to socialise with neighbours and have access to free Wi-Fi, hot drinks and refreshments.
